The Crowd Arrived Early
The resort was peaceful until just before 6:00 pm, when the crowds began arriving. People queued to show their tickets or buy them at the door. Soon, the atmosphere transformed into one of excitement, laughter and anticipation. Before long, the venue was buzzing with energy.
Music, Food and Dancing
Ghost Riders and Wild Side kept the dance floor alive all evening with fantastic performances. Meanwhile, the Cape St Francis Resort team worked tirelessly to keep everyone fed and refreshed.
Guests enjoyed a delicious selection of food, including calamari bowls, boerewors rolls, pulled pork buns and other tasty treats.
Supporting Conservation Together
The FOSTER JOL has truly become an iconic Cape St Francis event. It brings the community together for an evening of music, friendship and fun while supporting conservation.
We are delighted that the event is expected to have raised around R50,000 for FOSTER’s conservation work.
A Heartfelt Thank You
A heartfelt thank you goes to the Cape St Francis Resort for once again generously providing its facilities and contributing towards the event’s costs. Your continued support makes occasions like this possible.
Special thanks also go to Malcolm Devine, who leads FOSTER’s fundraising efforts, and Jason and the resort team for organising what can only be described as a truly memorable evening.
Finally, thank you to everyone who came along. With well over 300 people in attendance, it was wonderful to see old friends reconnect, new friendships form and the community unite in support of FOSTER.
Your support helps us continue protecting and caring for our precious natural areas.
Thank you for making the 2026 FOSTER JOL such an outstanding success. We can’t wait to do it all again!
