The Thyspunt Alliance will host a series of monthly quiz nights from August to December to raise funds for its campaign opposing the proposed nuclear power station at Oyster Bay.
The evenings are designed to do more than test general knowledge. They will bring people together, strengthen community support and help raise money for the legal work that still lies ahead.
Sponsorship Opportunities Available
The first quiz night has already secured its main sponsor, with The Farmyard Nursery stepping forward to support the opening event.
The Alliance is now looking for four more businesses or individuals to sponsor one of the remaining quiz nights. Sponsors do not need to live in St Francis or even the Eastern Cape. Anyone who supports the cause is welcome to become involved.
What Sponsors Receive
A main sponsorship costs R5,000 and covers the prizes for the first, second and third-placed teams.
In return, sponsors receive:
- Their logo on the marketing material for that quiz night.
- Public acknowledgement during the evening.
- The opportunity to display promotional material on tables and around the venue.
Community Support Makes The Difference
The Thyspunt Alliance says the quiz nights are intended to be enjoyable community events while helping fund an important campaign.
With only four main sponsorship opportunities still available, the Alliance is encouraging interested businesses and individuals to secure their place as soon as possible.
