We were delighted to welcome our new Rotary District Governor, Steve Shone, to St Francis Bay this weekend. A highlight of his visit was a tour of our ongoing Fire Station project. This is a key initiative proudly driven by the Rotary Club of St. Francis. It is currently a work in progress.

Our newly elected Club President, Lesley de Jager, led DG Steve on a walk-through of the site, showcasing the completed Phase 1. This is the installation of the much-needed new roof. She also provided updates on Phase 2. This focuses on the essential interior renovations now underway.

The visit was a wonderful opportunity to share the tangible progress we’re making. Also, the impact this project will have on our local community.

Rotary Club of St Francis Induction Dinner 2025

The annual Induction Dinner of the Rotary Club of St Francis was held on Saturday evening. It took place at the charming Dune Ridge Country House. This is a perfect setting for a night of celebration and fellowship. It featured wonderful food and an ambient atmosphere. It was much enjoyed by all attendees.

We were honoured to have our newly elected District Governor, Steve Shone, join us for the occasion and formally induct our incoming President, Lesley de Jager.
