Resort again offering Wild Flower Chase
It is great to see that Cape St Francis Resort is again offering locals and visitors to St Francis the opportunity of experiencing the colours and variety of wild flower on our nature reserves this coming spring. As with last year the resort will be setting up a ‘fynbos lounge’ in the resort where many of the fynbos varieties will be on view close up, before embarking on a daily ‘flower safari’ to various reserves where the flowers in bloom can be best viewed.
Certainly it may not be as prolific as the Namaqualand blossoming but it is nonetheless just as beautiful and a lot less distance to travel to see. So let your friends and family who live in the Eastern Cape, and further afield know that they really should come and visit St Francis over the weekend of the 12th to 14th October to witness this spectacle.
The cost will be R130 per person and will include a light lunch and a donation to FOSTER so book your place now by calling the resort on 042 298 0054 and if coming from out of town, why not spend the weekend in St Francis and take in a canal cruise as well.
