Below is the Calibre Security Crime Report for April 2025 with some encouraging stats and figures.
– Village: 2 incidents (2 thefts – copper pipes and a wheelbarrow)
– Santareme Phase 1: 3 incidents (1 attempted housebreaking, 1 theft, 1 housebreaking)
– Industrial Area: 1 incident (housebreaking)
There were ZERO Incidents in:
– Canals
– Cape St. Francis
– Kromme
– Oyster Bay
– Santareme (General)
Fewer incidents, more peace of mind. Great work to everyone in these areas for staying alert and proactive!

Some of the stolen items included: Copper pipes, wheelbarrow, outside tap, suitcase, and alcohol.
Arrests: 2 suspects arrested for theft-related incidents.
Recovered items: Copper pipes and a wheelbarrow.

Unsecured Homes
Only 17 vacant homes were left unsecured in April – a major improvement from previous months.
Let’s keep this up! Always ensure all doors, windows, and gates are locked when leaving — and remind guests or staff to do the same.

False Alarms
21 false activations in April were triggered by service providers.
We’re reaching out to homeowners who haven’t yet provided access protocols (remotes/keys). Please assist us in reducing false callouts by keeping our office informed.
