In reaction to reports of incidents of theft, harassment and anti-social behaviour on Main Beach, St Francis Property Owners Association have arranged with GAD Security Services, a Sea Vista-based security company, for two patrol guards to watch over beachgoers and their property.
The two guards will be on duty at Main Beach from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, from 16th December until 6th January 2023 and the Association will be sponsoring the cost of the two guards. A big thank you to Bull Workwear for sponsoring their uniforms.
Guards Yonela Mtshilita and Abongile Dokolwana will be on the lookout for any suspicious activities and will report dangerous or illegal behaviour to relevant authorities for action. They are seen here with GAD Security Manager, Babalo Bunu and Nigel Aitken for SFPO.
The SFPO believes that the presence of the two patrollers will improve beachgoers’ experience at Main Beach and support the very important role that the Municipal Life Guards perform which is to watch over the safety of bathers.
The SFPO Association wishes all St Francis residents and holidaymakers a safe and happy holiday in our town.
