St Francis Collegs celebrate Mothers Day and visit a farm
Oh My Hat! We Love Our Moms
Young St Francis College pupils celebrated Mother’s Day this month by treating their moms to a Mad Hatters Tea Party Picnic.
Kids and moms made homemade ‘mat hats’ for the occasion, with each class having its own theme : Safari style for Grade 00, a Fairy Garden for Grade 0, Nautical for Grade 1 and The Beach for Grade 2
After a hat parade, everyone relaxed on the grass with a picnic, where moms were handed delightful handmade gifts.
Happy Mother’s Day (and month!) to all our moms of St Francis Bay!
Marais Farm awes kids
College parents Grant and Shona Marais opened their beautiful home to the Grade 00 and 0 classes last month – and boy, was there lots to see! From sheep and pot-bellied pigs, to horses, rabbits and chickens, the kids were enthralled by life on a farm. After enjoying a picnic and ice-cream cones, the little ones waved goodbye to their four-legged friends and hinted that they’d be visiting again soon.
