Greater Garden Route Wedding Expo returns to Kouga in 2026 after a standout debut event in 2025.

The second annual expo will take place at Mentors Country Estate in Jeffreys Bay from 29 to 30 August 2026. It will bring together leading wedding suppliers, creative professionals, venues and premium experiences for one inspiring weekend.

Presented by RED Creative Collaboration, in partnership with Kouga Local Municipality and Mentors Country Estate, the event will once again showcase the Greater Garden Route as one of South Africa’s leading wedding destinations.

A Growing Wedding Destination

The expo has quickly become a highlight on the regional events calendar. It also celebrates Kouga and the Greater Garden Route as a destination for coastal ceremonies, luxury venues and high-quality local service providers.

Visitors can meet wedding suppliers directly and explore everything needed to plan a memorable celebration. These include photographers, dress designers, florists, planners, caterers, officiants, stylists and more.

In addition, the event will feature daily fashion shows with the latest bridal and formal trends.

Local Creativity And Business Growth

“This Expo is about much more than weddings,” said Rieghard Janse van Rensburg, lead organiser and co-founder of RED Creative Collaboration.

“The response to the inaugural event showed the incredible potential of the region. This year, we want to build on that success by creating an even bigger platform for local businesses while showcasing the exceptional quality and creativity available right here in Kouga and the Greater Garden Route.”

The expo also supports tourism growth and local economic development. It attracts visitors to the region while highlighting the venues, services and experiences available across Kouga and the wider Garden Route.
