The Calibre Security Expo drew a strong crowd to the expo venue – St Francis Brewing Company – with residents arriving steadily to explore the latest in security technology.

Strong Interest in Modern Security Systems

Visitors moved through a wide range of displays covering cameras, access control, non-lethal self defence equipment, alarms, and integrated home systems. The level of interest stayed high throughout the afternoon, with many stopping to engage directly with exhibitors and ask detailed questions.

Smart Technology Leads the Shift

Modern security has moved firmly into the mobile space. Many of the systems on display operate through apps, giving homeowners direct control from their phones. Residents can now monitor cameras, manage alarms and answer their front doors remotely or via Intecom systems.

This shift places more control in the hands of the user. It also creates faster response times and a more connected approach to home security. Security technology has moved at an incredible pace over the last few years, and this expo was an eye-opener to see how far it has actually come.

We quickly grabbed a few photos as the expo was finishing up for the day.

Integrated Systems Set the Standard

The technology on show highlighted how systems now work together. Cameras, alarms and access points link into a single platform, creating a more efficient and reliable setup. Real-time alerts and remote monitoring have become standard features.

Community Focus and Awareness

The initiative, led by Paul Middleton and the Calibre team, delivered clear value for the community. It gave residents the opportunity to stay informed and ahead of current trends, imperative for all homeowners, even if we are living in a relatively safe community.

St Francis Bay continues to place strong emphasis on awareness and preparedness. The village stays alert, and Calibre and events like this support a proactive approach to safety.
