Over two days, 18 Hankey, Humansdorp, Oyster Bay, and Sea Vista teachers participated in a vibrant training session with LEGO DUPLO Play Boxes. Special thanks to the Rotary Club of St Francis for making this possible!
Participants collaborated on exciting activities, building towers, performing colour songs, and engaging in sensory experiences.
Teachers from the Rainbow group, who work with children with special needs, were also in attendance. Each school received 33 LEGO DUPLO sets, with additional boxes sent to Sea Vista Library for reading classes.
Despite the weather, spirits remained high, especially with the mayor of Kouga joining in the fun! Teachers who couldn’t attend due to illness will receive guidance from their colleagues. Together, we are building strong foundations for future learning.
THIS PROJECT SHOULD LEAVE A POSITIVE IMPACT ON MORE THAN 600 PUPILS.
Thank you to Karen Chambers and Care for Education for providing the training.
