Whiskey on the Rocks Update
If you are wondering why there are tents placed on Queen of the West and at the surfers car park and the beach nearby in Cape St Francis, well t’s nearly time for the inaugural Whiskey on the Rocks (WOTRS) being held in Cape St Francis on Friday 20th of June and Saturday 21 June. WORKS is the brainchild of CSF local resident Jim Fletcher and promises to become a highlight of the St Francis Bay events calendar.
Please note a change of venue for the start and end of the event – Sunset Rocks car Park – as well as Uncle Nicks Party on Friday and the after party on Saturday – next to Full Stop in da Gama Road.
Where else but in the iconic Cape St Francis will you get to walk through a nature reserve (the Seal Point Nature Reserve managed by FOSTER) to get to taste some of the finest whiskies around. .FOSTER are the charitable beneficiary of the event, so a portion of the funds raised will go towards maintaining the Seal Point, Seal Bay ,Irma Booysen and Cape St Francis Nature Reserves.
