Once a month, we receive the Calibre Crime Report, which looks back at incidents of crime and other incidents that might have been experienced in the village and its surroundings. The Calibre October Crime Report is fairly encouraging, and Calibre’s ongoing vigilance is very encouraging to residents and visitors alike.

Canals:

• Attempted housebreaking (1): Back door damaged
• Theft (1): Boat battery stolen

Santareme:

• Attempted housebreaking (1): Circuit breaker tampered with

No incidents reported:

• Zero incidents in Santareme Phase 1, Industrial Area, Cape St. Francis, and Oyster Bay—great work!

Arrests: 1 for trespassing.

Recoveries: None reported.

Ongoing Challenges:

• Unsecured Properties: 28 vacant homes were left open or unsecured. A single unlocked door or window is all it takes—stay alert and secure your property!
• False Alarms: 26 activations caused by service providers not informing us before entering the premises. This wastes critical resources—please notify us in advance!
