The Wine on Water is set to return to the picturesque canals of St Francis Bay on February 21 and 22, 2025. This unique event offers wine enthusiasts an unparalleled tasting experience. It combines the charm of South Africa’s top wine estates with the tranquil beauty of the seaside village.
35 Premier Wine Producers
Organised by the Rotary Club of St Francis, the festival will feature 35 of the country’s premier wine producers. Attendees will be able to sample a diverse selection of wines, with each estate showcasing its finest selections. What sets Wine on Water apart is its innovative approach to wine tasting. Participants are transported between tasting stations via hop-on hop-off water taxis, navigating the picturesque canals that define St Francis Bay. This method offers a leisurely pace and a fresh perspective of the village’s stunning waterfront properties.
Upon arrival, guests can collect their wristbands and goodie bags at the Registration Tent. This is located at the Small Boat Harbour on the canals.

This fantastic event spans a few days, from 11 am until 6 pm on the 21st and the 22nd of February. Time to work through some of the most amazing wines that you could imagine. But, all events have a few rules needed to keep the event as fantastic as it should be. We have added the amazing wines you will be tasting, their addresses and the general etiquette for this event.
