REFLECT WILL BE ON DISPLAY AT QUAYS RESTAURANT FOR THE DURATION OF THE WINE ON WATER EVENT

Anton Smit is internationally acclaimed for his ability to capture the essence of humankind through his works. He is a prolific South African artist, best known for his overwhelming heads and monumental sculptures.

He has exhibited across the world and has commissioned private works for clients locally and internationally. Anton’s works were exhibited during the inauguration of President Nelson Mandela and recently he was commissioned to provide a 15 meter high statue in Belgium called “Faith”.

He trains local artists of all demographics at his sculpture park situated in Bronkhorstspruit and his vision is to plough back into local society and organisations.

Anton and his wife Roelien also support several charity organisations including,  the Cape Wine Auction; MAD (Make a Difference Foundation of Francois Pienaar); Ubuhle Christian School; The Lunchbox Foundation to name but a few.

Several of his sculptures will be displayed for sale during the Wine on Water event.

The generosity of Anton Smit has made this sculpture valued at R 50 232 available for raffle at R150.00 per ticket as part of Wine on Water in St Francis Bay, the proceeds of which will support the many projects of the Rotary Club of St Francis.

COMPETITION RULES :

  1. The price of a ticket entry in this raffle is R150.00.
  2. This competition is only open to legal residents of the Republic of South Africa.
  3. The competition runs from 1 February 2022 to 28 February 2022.
  4. The draw will take place on 28 February 2022.
  5. The prize winner will be the first entry drawn.
  6. The prize will consist of an original sculpture created by renowned artist Anton Smit.
  7. The prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash
  8. In the event of the Promoter not being able to contact the ticket holder, the Promoter reserves the right to draw again.
  9. The prize winner will be notified by telephone / e-mail and the prize winner’s name will be published on Wine on Water media at www.wineonwater.co.za and Facebook page.
  10. The laws of the Republic of South Africa govern this competition.
