The Sanlam Cancer Golf Challenge at St Francis Bay Golf Club last Saturday
After heavy winds and rain on Friday the clouds cleared and the wind dropped with Saturday dawning for a beautiful day, perfect weather for the Sanlam Cancer Challenge.
Considering all the major SA golf events held in St Francs in the past month or so, this event was rather overshadowed from a promotional point of view but certainly not in support. Jacque Botha, a three-time cancer survivor, represented CANSA at the prize-giving and informed the gathering of cancer statistics and encouraged others to follow her example and face the challenges head on.

These winners will go through to the Regional Finals and hopefully we will have a good number of players that will qualify for the National Finals that will take place at Sun City.
