The Quadrathlon is on Thursday 30 December!

The most popular sports event by far in St Francis every Christmas is the Quadrathlon.

Feeling energetic? Complete all four legs on your own!

Feeling sociable, but still competitive? Form a team of two or three or four. Maybe a family team to take on your friends?

The distances are short, so by soon after 9am, you can be on your way to the beach. The cycle leg is first, only 12km (either a road bike or a mountain bike), then a short 500m canal swim, then a flat 3km run and lastly a cool 3km paddle (either on a surfski or a canoe).

The Pam Golding Quadrathlon has been held every Christmas since 2006, and this year is at 8am on Thursday 30 December , once again at the Quays, in Seaglades Drive.

The entry fee is only R100 per person for adults and R80 for u/14’s. The event forms part of the Rezco Summer Series, and there is an option to pay R500 for entry to all ten events, between 19 December and 31 December.

There is a Race Briefing 15 minutes before the start, and all queries should be directed to Esti Stewart, 073 825 0835 or chokkatrail@gmail.com .

Online entries to reduce queuing on the day at www.stfrancissport.co.za . Entries are capped, so on the day registration is not guaranteed.
