Sea Vista paddler gets award

Sea Vista paddler excels

So wonderful to see the local Sea Vista community is sharing in the water sports of St Francis and who knows we will soon have a champ paddler following in the footsteps of FNB Dusi Canoe Marathon K2 champion Sbonelo Khwela.and rising star Banetse Nkhoesa.

The St Francis Paddling Club awarded their Development Paddler of Year Award to Sea Vista Primary School learner, Edwill Munnick recently. Edwill is one of the 11 member paddling development team from Sea Vista Primary school who are currently training to take part in the South African School’s Paddling tournament to be held in Cape Town in April next year. Coach Dave Louw is seen here with proud Headmaster, Charles Coenraad congratulating Edwill while his team mates look on.

Louw says, “Edwill has shown that he is a determined competitor and he has made the strongest progress this year. Each of these 11 boys and girls has earned a progress award and we are confident that our team will compete at SA School’s next year.”
