Success For St Francis Song Birds

St Francis College girls excelled at the “Knock on Wood” Festival at Woodridge College on 31 July 2018 which was  judged by the well known conductor and musician, Richard Cock. Each of the seven girls sang a song from a musical with impressive results.

Eva Hurley won a gold, and Madison Morris, Layla Reynolds. Ella Leshem and Kate Joubert each won a silver. In the duets, Ella Leshem and Kate Joubert sang their way to gold with Katy and Lara  Killian claiming a silver.

Grade 7’s Otter Challenge

The exciting Otter Challenge is currently underway with the St Francis College Grade 7’s competing over three days cycling, hiking and paddling. Day 1 (31 July) had them cycling (15 kms) and paddling (10kms), day two was the hike (15 kms) and paddle (10kms) and the finish is a paddle to finish at Quaysyde on August 2nd.
