Dark antique wood is offset beautifully against neutral backgrounds and unexpected flashes of colour in the pieces of art that adorn the guesthouse. Art is another of Fiona’s passions and during her years of travel she has acquired numerous interesting and unique pieces, many of which now rest beautifully at Newington Place.
The Malherbe family is a close knit one with many of their family members involved in the business and this personal attachment can be felt when staying at any of their accommodation establishments as nothing is standard and no ask is too big.
