A Peaceful Mass Gathering in support of the Save South Africa

A Peaceful Mass Gathering in support of the Save South Africa nationwide call to protest took place on Friday 7th April at the entrance to St Francis Bay and St Francis Links. Around 250 people gathered with placards imploring South Africans to unite against corruption and calling for President Zuma to step down. The gathering was led in a prayer for our country by local Pastor Andrew Vena of Shekinah Ministries. The highlight was the arrival of a toy-toying group of ladies from Sea vista who joined the throng with singing and chanting and led the gathering in the singing of the National Anthem. The singing ladies then led the gathering in a peaceful march through the village gathering enthusiastic support as they went.

Congratulations to all the organisers and thanks to the supporters. Special thanks to the SAPS and Municipal Law Enforcement officers, Calibre and Smhart security for their presence and assistance in ensuring that the demonstration took place without a hitch! Even the weather cooperated with much needed rain holding off the hour.
