Notes From The Municipality
These are some very important notes that we picked up from the Kouga Municipality Facebook page. Some of them are vital reading. As we head into our busy season in Kouga it is important to be aware of what is happening around us, and to make sure that we can all make educated decisions
ST FRANCIS BAY SPIT
Due to safety reasons, Kouga Municipality has closed the St Francis Bay Spit revetment project with immediate effect.
We caution all residents to stay away from the construction site.
The project will be continued in January 2022.
NO “CHRISTMAS BOXES” FOR MUNICIPAL STAFFERS
Kouga Municipality would like to alert residents and holiday-makers that NO AUTHORISATION has been given to any municipal staffers to ask for “Christmas boxes”.
Should you be approached by anyone with a list, asking for “Christmas box” donations, please report this directly to the Municipal Manager at firstname.lastname@example.org.
WATER ALERT: KOUGA
Due to the severity of the ongoing drought and rapidly dwindling water resources, water demand across the region is supplemented with existing borehole water where possible so as to ensure a steady supply of water.
Although this might result in the discolouration of the water (a slight to medium brown colour), the water is purified and safe to drink.
