Neville Taylor
It is with great sadness that we report on the passing of a long time St Francis resident Nevile Taylor.
Neville passed away peacefully on Tuesday 6th March, at his new home in Jeffreys Bay.
Neville Taylor became Leighton Hulett’s business manager almost 36 years ago to the day and, in that capacity, made a noteworthy contribution to the development of the village. He ran the village when Hulett and his family went on an extended cruise in the Indian Ocean and later became the Administrative Manager when the village became a Local Area of the Humansdorp Divisional Council. He was one of the foundation members of the tennis club, was an excellent tennis player as one of the residents said, and later became an active member of the bowls club of which he remained a life member.
A memorial service will be held for Neville at St Francis Bay United Church, Cnr St Francis Drive and Walton Rd, St Francis Bay on Wednesday 21st March at 10.00am
and he was a true gentleman
So sorry to hear. Our condolences to Eva and family.
Knew him since coming to StF as from 1975.
StF is what it became due to Leighton so well supported by Neville
Both these pioneers deserve so much thanks and appreciation from all who love StF
Neville was such a gentleman.Great tennis player.
Always supported by Eva.
I am very sorry to hear about Neville’s death. He was an institution in St. Francis and was so active in the village and the community in the early days of St. Francis together with Eva. My deepest sympathy and love go to Eva and their family. Diana Serrurier
