We sincerely thank everyone who made the effort to come and join us at the annual International Coastal Cleanup event for 2023. The weather was good, and the sun appeared, as did many of the local community and visitors staying in the area.
Our thanks go out to all the sponsors who supported the event with us and donated towards the morning’s activities.
Complimentary drinks were provided by Nevermind Restaurant and Bruce’s Coffee Shop to everyone who returned with a bag of rubbish and also entered into the free raffle for an Eco-Cruise for 4 sponsored by St Francis Safaris. Look out for the next post to see who the lucky winner is!!
The youngsters were treated to a lucky dip for a ‘Golden Ticket’ lollipop, and the lucky recipients with a golden ticket were presented with nature books sponsored by Bayview Boating.
We also thank Just Property St Francis for designing the posters for the event, sponsoring the waters and the directional signage.
It was an enjoyable day for everyone, including the help and support of the boys from the local St Francis Soccer Club, Slipway Surf Crew at Bruce’s, the Rotary Team, NSRI and the Kouga Municipality.
