The Kouga Working World Exhibition will take place on 10 and 11 April 2025 at Mentors Country Estate in Jeffreys Bay. This event will bring world-class career guidance resources to local schools and the broader community.

First Of A Kind

This first-of-its-kind initiative aims to equip school leavers and unemployed youth with the tools and exposure needed to secure meaningful employment. The programme offers career guidance, access to training, and funding opportunities. Thus, it is a platform for collaboration between academia, business, government, and society.

The exhibition seeks to open young people’s doors to a brighter future by strengthening the socio-economic fabric of the region.

Furthermore, the Kouga Local Municipality has arranged the Kouga Careers Expo. This event empowers senior school learners and unemployed youth in the region with resources to equip them to make a transition into study, training, and meaningful work.

Interactive experience

The Exhibition repackages the essential components of a Career guidance programme into an interactive experience with which learners can identify. Thus bringing study and career options to life.

Career resources include a Career Guidance Workbook and direct access to employers, funders and educational institutions in an exhibition.

Access to all visitors is free, as are the career resources.

The Kouga Careers Expo in Jeffrey’s Bay follows its sister expo, the Working World Expo in Nelson Mandela Bay, in February, which has a remarkable track record in empowering lives for over 25 years.

The Kouga Careers Expo is supported by Kouga businesses, civic organisations and other local partners.
