Trained by NSRI Station 37…

Kouga lifeguards Jamyan Jansen van Vuuren (left), Adrian Munnicks (third from left), Wian Mooi, John Cuyler, Kylo Joubert (third from right), Seth Baatjes (not on photo), and Tristan Pillay (not on photo) received their prestigious Lifeguard Award Certificate from Lifesaving SA, a globally recognised qualification, on Tuesday, February 15. The award is an NQF Level 4 equivalent.

Three of these lifeguards were employed by Kouga Municipality the past season, while the remainder will be eligible for employment upon turning 18. With them are Dean Luyt (trainer), Kouga Speaker, Brenton Williams, Keawane Hammond (captain), and NSRI Station 37 Station Commander, Paul van Jaarsveld.
