Kouga Fire heroes celebrated!
Today (Friday 4th March) the community, through donations, get to say their big “Thank You” to all the municipal and district Fire Fighters that were involved in those massive fires of last month. The celebration will be held at the Fire Station in St Francis Bay at 16h30, 4 March 2016.
The Rebels Rus Conservancy very kindly raised approximately R11 500 specifically for the firefighters “Thank You” celebration.
St Francis Links will be preparing the meals for the approximately 60 firefighters. Some of the food being prepared comes from the donations received during the fires. The latest additional donation from the kind folks at Rebels Rus will certainly add to a bigger spread and a larger celebration for those who deserve it most.
A big thank you to all the donors for assisting in ensuring a worthy celebration for these brave and tough firemen and women.
