A destination of fun, excitement and – the best part – animals, delighted Grade 1 St Francis College pupils recently when they visited The Holmeleigh Touch Farm en route to Port Elizabeth.
Pupils fed and admired the animals, learned about their habits and got to milk a cow.
After entertaining and feeding their four-legged and two-legged friends, the kids enjoyed a picnic on the rolling lawns before ending their morning on a tractor ride.
“A most enjoyable and worthwhile outing!” said grade 1 Teacher Lynn Webb.
