Eco Route Environmental Consultancy have been appointed as independent environmental practitioners by the Kromme Enviro-Trust to ensure the lawful construction of a boardwalk starting from Granny’s Pool and ending at Main Beach, St Francis Bay. 

The proposed boardwalk will be timber-based and approximately 333 metres in length, 1.2 metres wide, with a guardrail of 0.9 metres in height. Included in the design will be two fishing/ viewing platforms.

The boardwalk will begin at the level of the existing concrete slipway at Granny’s Pool and end at the existing concrete retaining wall at Main Beach.

There is a hardcopy of the draft Basic Assessment Report available for viewing at the Kouga Municipal offices in St Francis Bay with Ann Bezuidenhout.
