The CSF Ladies Tea Club thank Mike Kimmings

The CSF Ladies Tea Club wish to thank Mike Kimmings for his support in hosting their July Cup of Soup 2017 charity event.

Here Kimmings hands over a donation to Ingrid Williams from Kouga Hospice.  The donation is from Brain Finch, the performing musician, of that evening. He donated his door takings to the cause. The total amount from donations, soup sales and door takings at Rock Lily was R14 704.

We are grateful for the support of the community for this annual project in spite of these tough economic times.  Williams says that Kouga’s St Francis Hospice provides holistic care and support to terminally ill patients in the Kouga area and surrounds.  Many of these people and their loved ones do not only have to cope with their disease, but also live in abject poverty.  Hospice-care is available to all who need it and without donations they will not be able to render the service they do in this rural part of the Eastern Cape of South Africa.
