St Francis Bay Bridge Club Charity Day 2018

The St Francis Bridge Club held its annual Charity Day the St Francis Links on 18th September raising a total of R8500.00. The money raised was divided equally and donated to two well deserving charitie, St Francis Hospice that serves the Kouga area, and Disney Creche at Sea Vista.

Together with Rotary we donated the much -needed paving for the play areas and walkways at Disney Creche.

The fund raising day was generously supported by many local businesses who made the day possible and the success that it was. Commenting on the day spokesperson Melanie Heinamann “ we are extremely grateful  for their support  and all 100 players enjoyed a fabulous day and the delicious food supplied by the Links. Thanks too to all those who donated prizes,  they were superb and much appreciated by the winners of the bridge tournament and those with lucky tickets”.

Thanks also must go to Oliver Thomas of Appian Way Paving, for his generosity of providing a portion of the pavers from his stock at a reduced price and the labour at cost,

Thanks to the St Francis Bridge club who have donated R4250 for much needed paving work at the Disney Creche in Sea Vista. The total cost of the project was R5600 and the St Francis Rotarians will contribute the balance.
