Business Story
Where in the world can you still find a home perched right on the ocean’s edge for under R10 million? It sounds impossible — but in the beautiful seaside village of St Francis Bay, it’s very real. This exceptional oceanfront residence is listed at just R9.85 million. That’s approximately €475,000, $562,000, or £411,000 — remarkable value when compared to other international coastal markets.
What makes this home even more rare is not just its price, but its setting: perched above the Indian Ocean, with a natural curve in the coastline granting it a prized north-facing orientation.
Sunlight streams into the home all day long, from soft golden mornings to dramatic, sun-drenched afternoons. The views are uninterrupted and utterly mesmerising — but what’s truly special is the privacy. Though the coastal path meanders below, this home is discreetly elevated and completely shielded from passers-by.
Inside, the home offers three spacious bedrooms and three and a half beautifully appointed bathrooms. Multiple living areas — three in total — flow out onto sunny terraces and patios, all designed to make the most of the sea and sky. Whether you’re entertaining guests, enjoying a quiet morning coffee, or simply watching the waves roll in, there’s a space for every mood and moment.
This is more than just a property; it’s a sanctuary. It’s the kind of home that offers not just incredible value and investment potential, but a truly rare lifestyle — one that blends privacy, beauty, and coastal charm in one of South Africa’s most beloved coastal towns.
