The Council has resolved to relax several policy requirements to assist the residents of Kouga.

For all amnesty applications, residents must submit a completed amnesty application form (attached), their current meter reading, together with supporting evidence thereof. For water leaks, a plumbing report stating that the leak has been fixed, must also be submitted.

R5 Million In Instant Cash,

Wine Of The Week

Le Riche Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

R5 Million In Instant Cash,The coveted Le Riche Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is the flagship of our range, blended using only Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from our best performing vineyard blocks from Stellenbosch. These selections are then micro-vinified in open-top fermenters. Extended maceration takes place in order to increase the overall age-ability of the final wine along with aging in oak.

Tasting Notes

Classic Cabernet aromas of blackcurrants, black cherry and cassis. Brooding and dense yet showing great freshness on the nose. Lead pencil shavings and cedar aromas add to the overall sophistication and elegance. On entry the palate is rich, velvety and opulent yet remarkably fresh and linear showcasing black fruit, a creamy mouthfeel and dark chocolate finish. A deliciously firm, appetising acidity is balanced by round, structured tannins. A wine with a wonderfully long, complex finish showcasing great potential for maturation; A true investment. One of our best vintages yet!

Good Forecast

Due to the wonders of science, we can already get a glimpse of what the waves might look like on that weekend. Still, this will definitely change over the next week or so. Right now, it is showing light onshore wind for the first two days and a nice little 3/4ft groundswell. The wind is going light offshore on the final day and the swell dropping slightly. It does look like excellent conditions for the contest, as Long Beach is a very contestable venue in the light onshore conditions.
