This amazing seascape was captured by local Seal Point resident, and artist, and photographer Juliette Godfrey. Early morning, looking across to Shark Point.

Yay For Jenni Finsen!
Notes From The Editor
There are many very good people, trying their hardest to do things that are good for the village, or for people in the village, or for surrounding areas. So it is gratifying to see and hear of these people. Let’s check some of them out.
St Francis Animal Rescue
Sue Rae Fox from St Francis Animal Rescue posted this on her Facebook Page
Today something truly spectacular happened!
Jenni Finsen (sister of our own Gill Finsen from SFB) is a friend and long-time supporter of St Francis Animal Rescue who lives in Orange County, California. Despite the fact she’s so far away, Jenni had 7 large, comfortable, water-proofed and durable kennels specially made for our charity. She also organized Pickfords’ Removals to transport these custom-made kennels from Port Elizabeth to St Francis Bay. As a huge bonus, Pickfords transported the kennels for free, forgoing a fee of R3,500 to support our charity and the cats and dogs of Sea Vista.
So, we all thank you, Jenni Finsen, for your kindness and generosity and for doing the impossible and organizing this wonderful gift for us all the way from California – you truly are one in a million!
And Pickfords – our volunteers are also grateful to you and your selfless transporters for undertaking this trip for St Francis Animal Rescue – for free!
We consider ourselves well and truly blessed to have such support! And thanks, Kate Meikle Menhannet and Bob Meikle, for allowing us to store our kennels at your Workshop.
Grow A Mo For Hospice.
We have those beautiful souls at Rotary running their Movember program this year. All proceeds go to St Francis Hospice Kouga. Please support this great cause, and remember you need to start the Program on 1 November clean-shaven.

FOSTER Golf Day
The Friends Of St Francis Nature Areas (FOSTER)will be holding their golf day on 6 November to raise funds for their organization. There will be great prizes and raffles, and the good people at FOSTER really need the support.
