Discovery Insure Scheme for St Francis Property Owners

SBS Insurance presentation at St Francis Links

Dear Homeowner,

We are one of the “oldest” short term brokers in the Garden Route. Previously named Garden Route insurance brokers. Established for 27 years. We currently have a few scheme’s in place for certain of the secure estate’s in the Garden Route. We are now rolling out more due to the success of these.

To mention a few: Thesen Island, Pezula, Sparrebosch, & Fancourt. As one of only 5 binder brokers in the Western & Eastern Cape we have been given extremely competitive thatch rates on Discovery Insure’s Executive product. Our standard construction rates are also very competitive.

Dependent on the numbers, the Discovery scheme will either be fixed rates or individually rated. Even if individually rated, we can Guarantee that the Building rate will not exceed a certain percentage, say 0.2%. This is around 60% less than most insurers are charging currently.

The scheme will also include the following benefits if the numbers are right:

  • No special terms & conditions with regards to the Underwriting of the thatch. This means no forms to be completed, no conditions in terms of thatch up keep etc.
  • No lightning conductors or fire blankets required.
  • Full power surge & Accidental damage up to the contents sum insured.
  • Executive car hire in the event of a vehicle accident.
  • Zero Excess for over 55’s.
  • Up to R800 paid back each month on client’s fuel spend per vehicle.( terms & conditions do apply here.)

I really believe this can add huge value to you as the homeowner & provide peace of mind in the event of a claim arising.

We hope you will be able to attend our presentation at the Links on the 30th of November at 5pm.

Kind Regards,

Leigh Skelton

Sea Vista paddler gets award

Sea Vista paddler excels

So wonderful to see the local Sea Vista community is sharing in the water sports of St Francis and who knows we will soon have a champ paddler following in the footsteps of FNB Dusi Canoe Marathon K2 champion Sbonelo Khwela.and rising star Banetse Nkhoesa.

The St Francis Paddling Club awarded their Development Paddler of Year Award to Sea Vista Primary School learner, Edwill Munnick recently. Edwill is one of the 11 member paddling development team from Sea Vista Primary school who are currently training to take part in the South African School’s Paddling tournament to be held in Cape Town in April next year. Coach Dave Louw is seen here with proud Headmaster, Charles Coenraad congratulating Edwill while his team mates look on.

Louw says, “Edwill has shown that he is a determined competitor and he has made the strongest progress this year. Each of these 11 boys and girls has earned a progress award and we are confident that our team will compete at SA School’s next year.”
