What’s Really Going On At The Quays? A Chat With Mae and Chantel

We have heard that The Quays has been sold, yet the actual facts about the sale and the future of The Quays could be clearer. So we contacted Chantel and Mae to find out What’s Really Going On.

All sorts of stories out there at the moment, and a little bit of confusion.

Mae:

The biggest confusion started with the sale of the whole property, known as Quaysyde, but that doesn’t include the sale of our restaurant, The Quays. All it really means now is that we have a new landlord.

And what does the future hold for you??

Chantel:

We still have another three years left on our current lease, so we’re not going anywhere (laughing).We have started setting our roots in this Village and within this community. So we really have no intentions of going anywhere.

What happens after three years?

Mae:

We are currently in discussions with the new developers concerning a new restaurant being built on the site after our current 3-year lease is complete.

Chantel:

We are very passionate about our restaurant, our guests and our community – and we continue to look forward to welcoming everyone to our restaurant with open arms.
