St Francis Business Notices is a new addition to the services featured on St Francis Today and is intended as a forum where local business can advise readers of all manner of news relating to their business that they would like readers to be aware of. There will be no charge* for this service whilst we test how well it is read by readers and how well it is supported by businesses in the region. St Francis Business Notices is not intended as an advertising feature but rather as place where businesses can inform readers of business news such as change in trading hours, new developments of products, sales and more. Content inclusion will be at the discretion of St Francis Today. Where a business wishes to include an advert this will certainly be considered at a small cost.

A happy and successful team

Pam Golding Sales Team St Francis Bay

This small team sold properties worth R156m in our financial year which ended last week. It was our best year in the eleven years since we purchased the franchise in 2005, and our third year in a row over R100m. The total value of residential property sales in the greater St Francis area is about R400m.

If inter-family sales are excluded, the figure for arms-length transactions is probably about R350m. Our market share is therefore about 45%. (Private sales probably amount to at least another 10%). We also increased the value of holiday rentals by 28% to almost R6m.

We are grateful to all buyers, sellers, owners, and tenants for their much appreciated business over the past 12 months, and we hope to provide more service in future. We also would like to thank all suppliers and contractors for their assistance. Besides good sales, we enjoyed working together, a more harmonious team would be hard to find.
