LOCAL homeowners now have the opportunity to have their properties surveyed (identification of pegs) at no cost to them.

The Eastern Cape Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (CoGTA): Land Survey and Cadastral Information Management has pledged their active support to assist Kouga Municipality in the identification of property boundaries for encroachments and boundary dispute resolutions.

All local homeowners who require assistance with surveying, are kindly requested to submit their information to the Town Planning Department at Kouga Municipality.

The Department will compile a comprehensive database that will be sent to CoGTA for their support.

The project is scheduled to commence during the course of the 2023/2024 financial year, which commences on 1 July 2023.

For more information, visit the municipal GIS Technician, Nwabisa Mali, in the Town Planning Department at the Kouga municipal building in 16 Woltemade Street, Jeffreys Bay.

Alternatively, send an email to nmali@kouga.gov.za which must include the following information, name and surname, erf number, name of town and contact number. An additional option will be to send your information via a survey link that will be available on the municipal website.
